Welcome everyone, to the first Monday of February. As a little gift from me to you a free vegan cake recipe. I hope you enjoy and let me
know how it turns out.
300g all-purpose flour
310g granulated sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
210g vegetable oil
330ml almond milk (or of your choice)
Preheat your oven to 175°C.
Grease and line two 8-inch round cake pans with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
In a separate bowl, mix together the vanilla extract, vegetable oil, and almond milk.
Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
Divide the batter equally between the prepared pans.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes , or until a toothpick inserted in the centre of the cakes comes out clean.
Allow the cakes to cool in the pans for 10 minutes before turning out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
